Sol, in DFW / probably building something

I build things
I actually need.

Usually it starts with an annoyance, a question, or a game I wish existed. Then I get stubborn about figuring it out.

Pick a project and I will show you around

01

Start with a real itch

02

Test the part that can break

Call the rough parts rough

On my desk right now / five active projects

Five things
I'm deep into.

A browser shooter, a pool assistant, a security app, and two automation projects. Some are solid. Some still argue with me.

The person behind it / short version

I like going
one layer deeper.

By day I coordinate clinical research and study neuroscience. At night I have a habit of turning small annoyances into software projects.

A / PROFILE

I like hard problems, especially the ones where the first answer is probably wrong. Building software gives me a place to take those problems apart and see what is actually going on.

Research taught me to check the evidence, notice the edge cases, and be honest about what I do not know yet. I try to bring the same habits to every project here.
